In this seminar, you’ll discover why pivots are so vital, how to create believable twists that won’t feel too contrived,  predictable, or outlandish, and how to shape pivots and climaxes that will leave your readers stunned, thrilled, and blown away.

Learn what The Domino Effect is and how it affects every scene of your story. Stories are contingent, meaning every event is caused by the one preceding it. Contingency propels narratives, keeps them believable, helps to align reader expectations with what is occurring, and keeps readers in the story. In this seminar, you’ll learn specific ways to tap into the contingent aspects of fiction to avoid coincidences, chance, and occurrences of deus ex machina, all while maintaining believability, escalation, and forward narrative progression.
